Don't for get to visit the Pits and come and see us after the Races

and here is a little Trivia for you down below:

Pits verses Grand Stand Seats!

Race Fans, from the Pits!

Race fans of almost all types of auto racing will tell you, the party is in the pits, not in the stands! They are very serious about that! According to my own experiences and those of countless other fans, the pits give you freedoms you'll never experience sitting in an assigned seat in the grand stands.

Advantages of being in the pits!

  • You can move around within the pits to see the race from numerous vantage points. If you want to experience what the action is like in turn 2, you just walk there and see it. If later you want to see the back stretch, just stroll on over to it. You can watch pit road or the garage from the pits as close as 25 feet at most tracks. You can even take a folding chair and a cooler with you on you travels throughout the pits.
Disadvantages of being in the pits!
  • Once the event starts, you can't leave the race track in most cases. Only for extreme emergencies will the track staff let you leave the track until the race is over. Keep that in mind if you are a Doctor or something like that where you might have to leave in a hurry.
  • If you don't have facilities of your own, the restrooms at most tracks are not adequate for the number of fans that attend. Long lines are the norm.
  • There is no fast way out of the pits when the event is over. Plan to stay a while and tailgate. Even if you are at the entrance, the pits at most tracks are not cleared before the outside parking areas, so it will take a while to get out!
  • That is about all the disadvantages I can come up with.

If you attend a race track in your area every year, try buying a pass to the pits, just once!  Experience the race from the pits and you will agree with the other "Pit Racers" that it's more fun in the pits! Try it, you'll see!
